Spring is here ( finally!) and you want some lighter and healthier dinners. However it's not because it’s spring that you have more time to cook or perhaps you start to throw last minutes friends dinners. I have the perfect recipe for both situations: a caper and tuna pizza with pesto rosso and arugula.

This pizza is easy and quick to make because all the ingredients can be bought, hence making it would only consist on opening cans or mixing together a few ingredients. You can also to make everything yourself from the pizza dough to the pesto rosso.
No matter which way of making the pizza you’ll chose, the 20 minutes baking time is perfect for a little cocktail before dinner!

Ingredients:
- Pizza dough
- 120g pesto rosso
- 8 tablespoons of tomato sauce
- 5 teaspoons of caper
- 150g of mozzarella
- 10 basil leaves
- Arugula
- Salt
- Pepper
Roll out the pizza dough and place it on a baking sheet.
In a bowl mix together pesto rosso, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and 5 basil leaves washed, dried and chiseled.
Spread evenly the sauce on the pizza dough.
Crumble tuna and place the pieces all over the dough.
Cut mozzarella in stripes before placing it on the dough.
Wash cherry tomatoes and place them on the dough.
Sprinkle capper.
Bake the pizza for 20 minutes. Once it’s cooked, sprinkle salad and basil leaves all over the pizza.
Enjoy it warm with more salad.
I like to make a honey and balsamic vinegar dressing with the salad. It adds a nice sugary taste to the dish.
