During the weekend, I often make myself some granola so I can eat some throughout the week for breakfast or as a snack. Making my own granola ensures me that it is not full of added sugar and fat, and allows me to chose every week which taste I want. Hence, I can change the recipe of my granola from a week to another. Here is one of my favourite recipe, I make it at least once a month.

Ingredients

1 ½ cup rolled oats

1 tablespoon of honey

2 teaspoons of hazelnut oil

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ cup dried cranberries

¼ cup pumpkin seeds

Method

Preheat your oven at 120C.

In a bowl, place oats and salt.

In a smaller bowl, pour the honey.

Heat it for 1 minutes using your microwave.

Pour hot honey along with vanilla extract and hazelnut oil over the oats.

Mix everything with a wooden spoon.

Spread out the mixture on a baking tray.

Bake for 1 hour.

Once the granola is baked, allow it to cool completely.

Add the cranberries and the pumpkin seeds.

Transfer your granola in a airtight container. You can keep it up to 10 days.
